Keep me burning Lyrics by Theophilus Sunday

It is cold out there.
It is risky out there.
I will hold on to you.
Consuming fire.

It is cold out there.
It is risky out there.
How we hold on to you
consuming fire.

It is cold out there.
It is risky out there.
I will hold on to you.
Consuming fire.

So keep my heart pure, Savior, Keep my heart pure.
Keep my heart pure, Savior, Keep my heart pure.
Let this fire overwhelm me.
Savior, keep my heart pure.

Keep me burning, Savior, Keep me burning.
Keep me burning, Savior, Keep me burning.
Let this fire overwhelm me.
Savior, keep me burning.

Keep me burning, Savior, Keep me burning.
Keep me burning, Savior, Keep me burning.
Let this fire overwhelm me.
Savior, keep me burning.

Keep me burning, Savior, Keep me burning.
Keep me burning, Savior, Keep me burning.
Let this fire overwhelm me.
Savior, keep me burning.

So, when you come again,
You will find me standing in your will.
When you come again,
You will find me standing in your will.

When you come again,
you will find me standing in your will.
Yeshua when you come again,
you will find me standing in your will.
Standing in your will.

My savior. When you come again,
you will find me standing in your will.
When you come again,
you will find me.

[Music] tongues

So, when you come again,
You will find me standing in your will.
When you come again,
You will find me standing in your will. (repeat)

Keep me burning, Savior, Keep me burning.
Keep me burning, Savior, Keep me burning.
Let this fire overwhelm me.
Savior, keep me burning. (repeat)

When you come again,
You will find me standing in your will. (repeat)

Keep my heart pure, Savior, Keep my heart pure
Keep my heart pure, Savior, Keep my heart pure
Away from offense, Away from pride
Savior, Keep my heart pure

Forrest Frank testimony: From Viral Pop Star to Worship Leader

In a recent conversation with his pastor at Antioch Community Church in Waco, Texas, Christian artist Forrest Frank laid bare the unconventional, challenging, and often miraculous journey that led him to pivot from secular music success to becoming a prominent figure in the worship music space. His testimony is a powerful narrative of radical surrender, divine prophecy, and seeing God turn personal trials into public triumphs.

💡 The Moment of Surrender: Collapse at Antioch

Frank, known for his work in the pop music realm, including his viral hit “Sunday Best,” recounted the moment his life changed while attending Baylor University in Waco. Struggling with insecurity and anxiety and at his “lowest point,” he acted on a sudden internal whisper to go to church.

He arrived late to what turned out to be the close of a three-day fast at Antioch. Frank shared the immediate impact: “I walked in and immediately… I felt like this weight was lifted off of me.” He walked only a few steps into the back of the room before collapsing in the presence of Jesus, saying he was “tired of running.” This conversion instantly propelled him into discipleship, community, and even a mission trip.

💸 The Principle of Fruit: Surrender Precedes Success

The principle of surrender became a recurring theme, even before his official ministry began. Frank revealed that just three days before his secular song “Sunday Best” unexpectedly exploded in popularity, he felt an intense spiritual prompting to give all his savings to the church.

His pastor emphasized the lesson: “The principle’s the deal. Surrender creates fruit. Period.” This act of obedience, giving up financial control, preceded the massive worldly success of “Sunday Best,” setting the foundation for the greater sacrifice God would ask for next.

🧭,Prophetic Nudge and the Pivot to Christian Music

In June 2022, despite being successful, Frank felt a deep conviction that he wasn’t being “everything God want[ed] me to be.” He was being led to leave the secular music world. This was confirmed by a series of divine events:

  1. Prophetic Word: While “hiding” in the balcony of the church, a visitor named Morgan, who didn’t know him, approached him after receiving a dream. She confirmed the call to leave the secular realm, start making Christian music, and predicted God would “flip the whole industry through you.”
  2. Scriptural Framework: The prophecy was rooted in two specific Bible passages that now frame his ministry: Isaiah 61 (proclaiming liberty and comfort) and Malachi 4:6 (restoring the hearts of fathers to their children).
  3. The First Song: After wrestling with the idea of monetizing his private worship, Frank obeyed a strong pull to release a song that had been repeatedly coming out of him at the piano. This song, which Frank later identified as “Good Day” (or a similarly early, organic track from the start of his Christian journey), was uploaded and instantly became a global Christian streaming success, confirming the divine shift.

The Genesis 50:20 Trial

Frank’s commitment was immediately tested by a major industry hurdle. He woke up one morning to find all his newly released Christian musicreportedly 86 songs over three albums, had been unilaterally pulled from his distribution platform by a previous record label exercising a contractual option. They took all the royalties and demanded a final album.

Friends and attorneys advised him to fight the legal battle, but Frank found peace in the scripture Genesis 50:20: “What the enemy intended for evil, God intended for good.”

He chose radical service over legal confrontation. Instead of fighting, he poured his energy into creating the greatest album he could make to fulfill the contract. That album, “Child of God,” was the result of his surrender. It not only fulfilled his obligation but became the very album that exploded his ministry, leading to major tours. Frank reflected, “That really was the lynchpin on my career was that moment where I said I want to be a good servant.”

Forrest Frank Rejecting the Dove Award Trophy

Having wrestled with the concepts of fame and ministry since his conversion, Frank recently took a public step of radical conviction by announcing his refusal to participate in future music award shows, including the GMA Dove Awards and the Grammys.

Despite his success, which includes winning New Artist of the Year and Pop/Contemporary Recorded Song of the Year for “Good Day” at the 2024 Dove Awards, and multiple nominations in 2025 (including Artist of the Year), Frank stated he felt a strong spiritual boundary needed to be drawn.

“I’m convicted, personally, that a line that I can draw is that I will not receive a trophy for something that is from Jesus and for Jesus,” Frank stated in a social media video. “The trophy is that my name is listed in the Book of Life, and I get to have eternal life. What good is a piece of metal going to do compared to that?”

His “stance of non-participation” was meant to inspire youth to focus on eternal rewards rather than temporary, worldly recognition. The move sparked a wide debate among Christian artists, with some questioning the decision, while others, like the legendary CeCe Winans, publicly respected his personal conviction. For Frank, this decision represented the final, ultimate surrender: trading professional glory for the singular glory of God

Prophecy Fulfilled: A Ministry to Families

The true fruit of this surrender, Frank noted, was the specific audience God drew to his music. While touring, he expected to see people his own age, but instead, the vast majority of concertgoers were parents and children, together.

This confirmed the Malachi 4:6 prophecy that had been spoken over him, demonstrating that God was using his music to connect generations and minister to the spiritual health of families.

Frank concluded with a challenge to all believers: “Go after what breaks your heart… Because if you’re working, if you’re laboring to aid in what breaks your heart, it’s so fulfilling.” He credits the raw, honest intimacy of his relationship with God, which he calls “cheating” because the songs are downloaded directly from heaven, as the source of all his success.

Forrest Frank tour schedule

Following the runaway success of his album and ministry pivot, Forrest Frank continues to live out his calling on the road. Far from retiring after his surrender, his career has exploded into a relentless touring schedule. Fans who have followed his journey will have multiple opportunities to experience his unique blend of worship, testimony, and high-energy music throughout 2025 and 2026.

While there is no confirmed major public event for the remaining part of the year, Forrest Frank is confirmed to be on the lineup for the popular Winter Jam tour and the Rock the Universe Festival.

Son Of David (Church Arise) lyrics Ebuka Songs

That I will see my name in the book of life
Que je voie mon nom dans le livre de vie

After all my preaching I will do on earth
Après toute la prédication que je ferai sur la terre

That I will hear my name amongst the saint
Que j’entende mon nom parmi les saints

After all my fame they’ve shouted on earth
Après toute la renommée qu’ils auront criée sur la terre

May I not set men on fire now
Que je n’allume pas les hommes de feu maintenant

and not be seen among the few
Et que je ne sois pas compté parmi les quelques-uns

Kestin Mbogo – Biography

Background & Ministry Roots

Kestin Mbogo is a Kenyan gospel worship leader, singer, songwriter, and recording artist passionately committed to drawing people closer to God through worship. Originally from Meru County, she traces her spiritual and musical roots to her early ministry in GGV Church, where mentorship from Bishop Kariuki helped shape her into a powerful worship voice.

Kestin pursued formal training in music at Kenyatta University after initially enrolling in theatre arts. She first completed a Music Diploma (with distinction) between 2012 and 2014, then progressed to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Music by 2020 ,balancing study with financial hardship using scholarships and community support.

Teaching & Leadership

While studying, Kestin served as a music instructor at Kenyatta University. She later taught at elite schools such as Almasi International and Braeburn Imani, before joining the worship team at International Christian Church (ICC) in Imara Daima, Nairobi in early 2019. Together with her husband, Mark Kiptoo, she leads the church’s worship ministry.

Music & Discography

Kestin’s recorded ministry began with the song “Yesu Pekee” in collaboration with Davis Kiarie in May 2018, marking her debut in gospel music. Subsequently, she spent seven years with the Sounds of Worship Band under James Kahero, contributing the original song “Ahadi” .

Her first album, This Generation (Live) (2022), features uplifting praise favorites like Usifiwe, Worthy Of My Praise (feat. Alice Kimanzi), and Nimepakwa; songs that quickly became staples in Kenyan praise sets

Her sophomore release, Atah (Intimacy with God) [Live Set 1] (2025), delves deeper into themes of intimacy with God, with standout tracks including Sitasahau (feat. Pastor Emmanuel Mule), Come to the Father, Stay (feat. Winnie Wambui), Natamani Nikuone (feat. Israel Kakondja), and Satisfy

Collaborations & Influence

Kestin has collaborated extensively across East Africa, including features with Naomi Bandi on Jehovah Wewe, Eunice Meshack on Mungu Mkuu, and Essence of Worship on Damu (Live). These projects demonstrate her reach beyond Kenya and her place within broader worship movements.

Style & Impact

Ceaseless in spirit and marked by a vibrant worship style, her songs blend joyful praise with intimate worship, deeply rooted in biblical truth. Her compositions like Worthy Of My Praise and Nimepakwa reflect themes of gratitude and divine victory and are widely adopted in church worship sets across East Africa.

Personal Life & Vision

Kestin is married to Mark Kiptoo, a partner in ministry and worship leadership at ICC Imara Daima. Together, they serve the Nairobi church in spiritual and practical leadership roles.

Her ministry vision centers on equipping the body of Christ through transformative worship. The album Atah, meaning “intimacy with God,” serves as a reflection of her call to deepen spiritual connection through consistent engagement with God in prayer, worship, and prophetic listening

Interlude

O gbe inu wundia sola (He dwells in the virgin honorably)

O gbe inu adelebo sogo (He dwells in the married woman gloriously)

Chorus

Jesus Jesus

Jesus Jesus

Jesus Jesus

I come to You

Apostle Grace’s ministration

Now listen child of God

The woman at the well

That Samaritan woman that many of us know

Jesus told us something so powerful

He said you worship what you know not

So, allow me to give context to what we are singing

The bible tells us, that God who at sundry times and in diverse manners

Spoke to our fathers through the prophets

But He has in these last days spoken through His son Jesus Christ

And the bible says He has made Him heir to all things

And by Him were the worlds created

Now listen to the mystery

The bible had said He spoke to the fathers through the prophets -present continuous

Every time He came to a prophet

He gave him a revelation for Isreal or an Individual

But the bible says in these last days, He has spoken

Who gets the revelation?

In the old He spoke -present continuous

It was progressive revelation

In the last days, He’s not speaking or going to speak what He has not already spoken

Praise God

The Jesus you are coming to

Has already spoken your destiny

You’ve been given everything that pertains to life and godliness

You’ve been blessed with every spiritual blessing, in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus

The bible is very clear that He has been given a name above all names

That at the sound of that name, every knee should bow, of the things in the earth

Of the things in the heavens and the end of the earth

And every tongue should confess

That Jesus Christ is Lord

To the glory of the Father

When we come to Him

We don’t come to Him hoping that He will do something

We come to Him because everything we’ve come for is finished

You are not coming for healing

You are coming for health because you are healed through His stripes

You are not coming to be provided for

You are coming because you are provided for

You are not coming for a child

You are coming because you are given a child

You are not believing God for marriage

You are coming because you have been given marriage

Philemon 1:6 says

The communication of your faith becomes effectual as you acknowledge every good thing which is in you

Chorus

Jesu Jesu o (Jesus Jesus)

Jesu Jesu (Jesus Jesus)

Jesu Jesu (Jesus Jesus)

Mo wa so do re (I have come to You)

In Luganda we sing like this

Yesu Yesu (Jesus Jesus)

Yesu Yesu (Jesus Jesus)

Yesu Yesu (Jesus Jesus)

Nzize gyooli (I have come to You)

Jesus Jesus

Jesus Jesus

Jesus Jesus

I come to You

Yesu Yesu (Jesus Jesus)

Yesu Yesu (Jesus Jesus)

Yesu Yesu (Jesus Jesus)

Nzize gyooli (I have come to You)

Dunsin’s Ministration

For He has given You a Name that is above every other names

At the mention of the Name of Jesus

Every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess

That Jesus is Lord

For the Name of the Lord is a strong tower

The righteous runs into it and is saved

For the virgins love Thee

For Your name is poured forth like oil

So, when I call the name Jesus

It means I anointed

Jesus Christo

The anointed one

Jesus, anointed

Jesus, anointed

And according to Isaiah 10:27

It shall come to pass in that day

That the yolk shall be destroyed

And the burden shall be lifted

Because of the anointing

Somebody shout Jesus

Every yolk is being destroyed

Jesus, Jesus, Jesus

Anointed, Jesus

Let every yolk be destroyed, now

Lift it up for the last time

With your hands up

Say Jesu Jesu o

Jesu Jesu o (Jesus Jesus)

Jesu Jesu (Jesus Jesus)

Jesu Jesu (Jesus Jesus)

Mo wa so do re (I have come to You)
